What complications can occur (clumping of the filling substances, uneven distribution etc.) ?
In individual cases haematoma or swelling may occur. Those are the most frequently arising side effects. Further possible side effects will be addressed during individually tailored consultations.

Is the treatment/injecting painful?
With injections, slight pain can occur. If desired, an ointment to numb the area can be applied.

How long does the effect of hyaluronic acid continue on average?
Depending upon the processing and composition of the wadding, the effect continues for six to twelve months.

Can allergic reactions to the filling substances occur?
With the products mainly used by us, allergic reactions occur very rarely. In addition, during our consultations, allergies are discussed.

Are creases only reduced by the treatment or removed completely?
Small creases disappear completely, deeper creases can only be reduced.

Can hyaluronic acid be harmful to the body?
Hyaluronic acid and other fillers, can in individual cases, bring about fever or swelling of the lymph nodes after the treatment, however, long-term damage is unlikely due to the bio-compatibility and the decomposition of the substances by the body’s systems.

May filling substances also be applied during pregnancy or when breast feeding?
For safety reasons we do not perform treatments with filling substances during pregnancy or the breast-feeding period.
